Lohri is a popular winter time Punjabi folk festival, celebrated primarily by Sikhs and Hindus from the Punjab region. Lohri marks the end of winter season, and is a traditional welcome of longer days and sun’s journey to the northern hemisphere.The festival is observed & celebrated by Sikhs and some Punjabi Muslims and Christians in Pakistan as well.
Come join ISA at Lake Monroe on January 20th to celebrate with us and have a great time – we will have music, dancing, a bonfire, and s’mores!
There will be limited rides available and please bring blankets to keep yourself warm!
